Despina Konstantinides, a New York-based artist of first-generation Greek-American descent, has been practicing oil painting since she was in the fourth grade. After completing her degree in philosophy at Trinity College, she pursued an MFA in painting from Indiana University.

Her paintings employ landscape imagery that merges both representational an abstract elements. Through her artwork, Despina explores the language of painting and its unique ability to hover in the liminal space between comprehending and not comprehending what it means to exist.

Despina’s paintings have been included in prominent collections such as the Consulate of Greece in New York, the AIG corporate art collection, The Delson, the George T. Douris Tower, and numerous private collections. Additionally, Despina's art has gained recognition through its feature on the widely viewed HBO show, Divorce.
